I am available for

I am a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist

As well as experienced Pilates teacher, author and mum.

I have been working in the  field of women’s health physiotherapy for over 20 years.

I qualified in 1993 from Addenbrookes Hospital School of Physiotherapy, Cambridge before gaining a Masters Degree, from The University of Cambridge, in Community & Public Health.

 

I worked for many  years for the NHS, both at St. George’s Hospital in London & until recently at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.  In the middle I spent 4 quite different years working at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town.

I have  Full Membership of the Professional Network of Pelvic, Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) and have published several papers.

One-on-One Physiotherapy

At South Cambridge Physiotherapy, I work individually with women to improve symptoms of incontinence, prolapse, bowel issues and vaginal or pelvic pain.  

 

At clinic I offer proper vaginal examination of the pelvic floor & comprehensive assessments of the full body,  advise on the use of neuromuscular stimulation & biofeedback, exercise & holistic treatment programmes.  We have equipment you can try and borrow.

Pilates classes

For expert teaching in the comfort of your own home do join our online PROPELVIC Pilates Classes Thursdays at 6pm or Saturday mornings 9.30am

 

For more individual attention, our expert team of physios run intimate in-person groups in both North & South Cambridge venues
